Cooperative Education Program

Program Overview

The SRNS Cooperative Education Program (Co-op Program) provides opportunities for students attending four-year universities to alternate semesters of academic study with semesters of paid, career-related, learning experiences. The goal of the cooperative education program is to help bridge the gap between academic study and its application in professional practice.

Each student's Co-op experience is monitored both by the SRNS Co-op Office and university faculty to ensure learning. Cooperative Education, as the term implies, represents a partnership among the university, students, and SRNS.

Participating in the SRNS Cooperative Education Program gives students the opportunity to apply what they have learned in the classroom and to learn material not yet covered. This can enhance your academic performance and give you a competitive edge when seeking full-time employment upon graduation.
