AIKEN, S.C. – Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) was recently named National Corporation of the Year at the Carolinas-Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council (CVMSDC) 2026 Business Opportunity Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina. The award, selected from a multi-state network of corporate partners, recognizes SRNS’ leadership, measurable progress, and long-term commitment to advancing supplier diversity and expanding opportunities for minority business enterprises across the region.
In FY26, SRNS Contracts and Supply Chain Management received 11 industry awards, reflecting a strengthened network of diverse suppliers supporting mission delivery at the Savannah River Site (SRS). SRNS currently partners with 72 minority-owned businesses, representing 12% of total company spend. Since 2022, SRNS has invested more than $261 million in minority businesses across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia, and $716 million nationally—marking steady growth in regional economic impact.

CVMSDC has championed minority-owned enterprises for more than 50 years, convening corporate partners, government agencies, industry leaders and diverse suppliers annually to build business relationships. The 2026 conference centered on “Futurism,” urging attendees to take an active role in shaping tomorrow’s economy through technology and collaboration. A core factor in this recognition is SRNS’ proactive engagement, working closely with suppliers to identify solutions, reduce barriers, and strengthen performance across the Department of Energy and National Nuclear Security Administration.

As conversations at the conference explored how emerging technologies will redefine supply chains, SRNS continues investing in tools like automation, predictive analytics, and adaptive forecasting to increase resilience and improve operational decision-making.
